About this opportunity

The NHS Scholarship is awarded annually by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) to outstanding National Honor Society seniors. Since 1946, NASSP has awarded more than $30 million in scholarships through this program. Each year, scholarship recipients are selected based on their demonstration of the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. This year, the program is awarding $2 million in scholarships to 600 students. The scholarship recognizes high school seniors who are active NHS members in good standing and plan to pursue higher education at accredited U.S. colleges, universities, military institutes, or trade schools. Top 25 scholarship finalists and their advisers receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC.
