NHSC Scholarship Program

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program provides financial support to students pursuing eligible health professions training in exchange for a commitment to provide primary care services in underserved communities. The program covers tuition, required fees, and provides a monthly living stipend for students enrolled in fully accredited health professions programs. Scholars commit to serving in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) after completing their training. The scholarship is designed to build a workforce of primary care providers dedicated to serving communities with limited access to healthcare. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals enrolled in or accepted to qualifying degree programs.
