NIAID Career Transition Award (K22 Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of the NIAID Career Transition Award program is to assist postdoctoral fellows' transition to positions of assistant professor or equivalent and initiate a successful biomedical career as an independent research scientist. This K22 award supports researchers in establishing their independence during the critical transition from postdoctoral training to a faculty position. The program provides funding to help early-career scientists launch their independent research programs in areas related to allergy and infectious diseases research.
