Niall O'Mahony Award

The Niall O'Mahony Award is presented to a student who excels in clinical practice over the 4 years of the BSc Mental Health Nursing programme at University College Cork. This award recognizes a student who is committed to advancing their practice and achieving competences, demonstrates motivation and inspiration as a good team player and role model, and shows enthusiasm to 'be the difference' in mental health nursing. The recipient is honored for their commitment to mental health nursing practice, professional development, and overall motivation, enthusiasm and leadership potential during clinical placements. The award also acknowledges the student's demonstrated commitment to their academic work throughout the program.
