NICA's Indigenous Scholarship

This scholarship assists an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student undertaking the Certificate IV in Circus Arts at Swinburne University of Technology. The scholarship covers the full course fee for students commencing their first year at Swinburne enrolled full-time in the eligible course. Applicants must demonstrate experiences which may have hindered access to education, genuine interest in Circus Arts, and previous engagement with the circus industry through a personal statement of 500 words or less. The scholarship requires submission of two written references: one academic reference from a person qualified to comment on academic studies, and one character reference from a person competent to supply such reference. The scholarship is specifically open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students only.
