About this opportunity
The Nickolas Rosta Memorial Award is an annual scholarship awarded to an undergraduate student at the University of Alberta who demonstrates excellence in both academics and fencing. The award is specifically designated for members of the University of Alberta Fencing Club, a Campus & Community Recreation Club, who maintain satisfactory academic standing and are eligible for competition. Recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on at least 18 units of course weight from the previous academic year and fulfill all team requirements as determined by the head coach. The selection is based on a combination of academic standing and demonstrated excellence in the sport of fencing. This endowed award was established by Helen J Rosta to honor the memory of Nickolas Rosta and to support student-athletes who excel in both their studies and athletic pursuits.
