About this opportunity

The Nicole Tjepkema Leadership Award for Women in Science is awarded to a student who identifies as a woman with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second or subsequent years of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. The award is funded annually through the Nicole Tjepkema Award Fund, which was established by Janet R Smith through the IG Wealth Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation.
