Nigeria Excellence Scholarship

Nigeria Excellence Scholarships of £4,000 off tuition fees are available to new international postgraduate students from Nigeria applying for an in-person postgraduate master's programme at the University of Southampton. The scholarship is provided as a tuition fee reduction on the first year of study. If a student is already in receipt of a scholarship award from the University or becomes eligible for another scholarship award, 50% of the value of the Excellence Scholarship award will be applied on top of any other Southampton award as long as the combined value does not exceed 100% of tuition fees. Recipients must be residents of Nigeria who would be eligible to pay overseas tuition fees, have a conditional or unconditional offer to study any in-person, full-time, postgraduate master's programme, and pay their tuition fee deposit by Tuesday 30 June 2026.
