About this opportunity
An award, valued at a minimum of $1,500, will be awarded to a graduate student registered full-time in the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts who demonstrates academic excellence and financial need. Preference will be given to international doctoral students. If no suitable candidates are found, then the award can be given to international master's students, domestic doctoral or domestic master's students. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate an interest in economic theory or econometrics and to students who had previously been living in India. This award is made possible by a donation from Prof. Sukesh and Mrs. Nandita Ghosh in honour of Prof. Ghosh's late uncle and aunt, Nihar and Mina Bose. Applications are to be submitted to Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs by February 1. Final selection will be made by the Chair and Associate Chair/Graduate Officer in the Department of Economics.
