About this opportunity
The Research Masters Studentships, offered as part of the NIHR INSIGHT Programme South London, provide valuable training for health and care professionals seeking to pursue a research career. The programme offers 30 funded places yearly across 19 Master's programmes at four partner universities (King's College London, City St George's University of London, London South Bank University, and Kingston University). The studentships are available for early-career health and public care professionals, excluding doctors and dentists, who are working towards or within five years of registration with an eligible professional regulatory body. The programme covers full home tuition fees for one year full-time or two years part-time Master's study, plus a stipend for living expenses or to contribute to salary costs for release from clinical or practical roles. The studentship provides training and exposure in real-world research, supporting a wide range of healthcare disciplines including nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, pharmacists, healthcare scientists, social workers, and public health professionals. Applicants must be located in South London or at specified North London partner NHS Trusts.
