About this opportunity
The Nils Clausson Award in the Creative and Performing Arts is an endowed award established through a donor commitment of $30,000 at the University of Regina. The award is designed to support students in their pursuit of artistic endeavors, providing financial assistance to help them achieve their creative goals. The award alternates between undergraduate and graduate student recipients, starting in 2021 with an undergraduate award. It is open to students in the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance or those pursuing a Master of Arts in Creative Writing, recognizing excellence and commitment in the creative and performing arts disciplines. The award provides $1,000 to one student annually who demonstrates good academic standing and maintains full-time enrollment. In the event that there is no eligible recipient from the designated level (graduate or undergraduate) for a particular year, a student from the alternate level will be considered, ensuring the award continues to support deserving students in the arts.
