The Nilsson-Ehle donation travel grants support theoretical and applied heredity research. These special travel grants are exclusively available to researchers with a doctoral degree (or equivalent). The grants support participation in scientific meetings where active contribution is required through presentation or poster session, and an accepted abstract must be submitted. Applications must indicate other sources of financing. Applications for other types of travel must include motivation, description of the purpose, and cost proposal. A research program (1-2 pages) and short curriculum vitae must be attached to all applications. Recipients must submit a final report separately. Note: The two-year rule applies, meaning grants awarded the previous year that are not yet completed do not need to be reported when applying for a new grant. No funds will be awarded to applicants who have not satisfactorily reported previously received grants.
