Nimick/Hansen Employee Scholarship Fund

The Nimick/Hansen Employee Scholarship Fund was created by the Dollar Bank Foundation at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to children of employees of Dollar Bank. This scholarship provides financial support to help students pursue higher education at accredited vocational, technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges and universities. The scholarship is designed to support the educational goals of employees' children, demonstrating financial need and academic commitment with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipients must be under 25 years of age and are children of Dollar Bank employees or its subsidiaries. The award averages $5,000 per year, and while it is a single-year award, previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.
