About This Opportunity

The Nimrod Hungarian Mobility Award provides funding to support academic mobility between Hungary and the University of Victoria. The award is available to undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate students in the fields of science, medicine, technology, or social sciences disciplines. Students must be either coming to study from Hungary at UVic or UVic students going to Hungary to study at accredited Hungarian universities. Part-time students are eligible with minimum unit requirements (9.0 units for undergraduate students and less than 3.0 units for graduate students). The selection of recipients is made by the Global Engagement Selection Committee. Two competitions are held each year with application deadlines at 4:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of March and November. Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average. Applications must be submitted to the Office of Global Engagement either in person or by email as a single pdf document. Recipients must maintain a minimum level of academic standing to retain the funding.
