About This Opportunity

The Noosa Community Foundation (NCF) manages charitable funds donated by local people to meet the needs of their community. They support local priority needs including education and involve people in developing their community. NCF Bursaries will support Noosa-based students with financial need who are enrolled in any undergraduate degree program at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Bursaries are valued at $5,000 and are paid over two study periods in $2,500 instalments approximately three weeks after the Census Date in the relevant study periods, once enrolment has been confirmed. The number of bursaries available in each study period varies and this bursary is offered through funds provided by an external donor. Selection criteria include financial need, hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact on time available for study, with preference given to previous recipients and consideration for applicants expressing interest in working within the Noosa Shire community post-graduation.
