About this opportunity
The Nordic Arctic Programme is a funding initiative guided by the principle of resilience and strong civil communities in the Arctic. The program supports locally rooted cooperation in the Nordic and Arctic regions, oriented toward both individuals and organizations. Its main goals are to directly contribute to the development of attractive and socially viable local communities in the Arctic across generations, support the development of local business opportunities and sustainable economic growth in the Arctic, and directly contribute to promoting green transitions and sustainable circular economy of the region. Projects must include partners from at least three Nordic countries (Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, or ร
land) and may be supplemented by participants from non-Nordic countries as long as the leading partner is from one of the Nordic countries. The program aims to contribute to the Vision of the Nordic Council of Ministers to be the most sustainable and integrated region by 2030.
