Nordplus Adult

Nordplus Adult is a funding program supporting educational cooperation in adult education across the Nordic and Baltic regions. The program funds two types of projects: mobility projects and collaboration projects. Mobility projects support the exchange of teachers, staff, and adult learners between partner institutions. Collaboration projects support transnational project meetings, development work, and mapping activities. Grants are based on fixed unit costs for different activities including travel, subsistence, project management, and development work. The program operates on a co-financing model where Nordplus covers part of the costs and participating organizations must contribute additional funding. Projects typically involve 3-4 partners from Nordic and Baltic countries over a two-year period. The program emphasizes sustainable practices, inclusion support, and the development of tangible educational products such as curricula, teaching tools, and open source materials.
