Norman and Helen Giffen Bar None Undergraduate Leadership Award

Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering or continuing in the third or fourth year of study for a Bachelor of Science in the Agriculture, Animal Health or Environmental and Conservation Sciences programs in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership qualities in extracurricular and community activities. Preference is given to students with a demonstrated interest in soil science or crop science. Recipients may receive only one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year. The award is funded by endowed funds from Barry Giffen in honour of his parents Norman and Helen Giffen.
