Norman Ronald Silver Memorial Entrance Scholarship

The Norman Ronald Silver Memorial Entrance Scholarship is offered annually to undergraduate students entering their first year at the University of Calgary in any faculty. This scholarship honors the memory of Norman Ronald Silver, who was a student at Henry Wise Wood High School at the time of his death. The award recognizes academic achievement with a minimum admission average of 75% and strong citizenship qualities. Eligibility is restricted to graduates of Henry Wise Wood High School. The scholarship provides financial support of up to $2,500 to one incoming student each year, made possible through the generosity of the family and friends of Norman Ronald Silver.
