North Ridge Development Award

The North Ridge Development Award is a scholarship offered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic to support students enrolled in the Plumber Apprenticeship program, Level 1. The award provides $1,000 to one recipient and is designed to assist students pursuing education in skilled trades. Selection is based on a combination of financial need (60% weighting) and academic achievement (40% weighting) based on Plumber Apprenticeship Level 1 final marks. Preference is given to mature students aged 26 years and older, or women entering non-traditional trades. The scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and encourage diversity in apprenticeship programs. Eligible students are automatically considered upon completing the General Application through the Saskatchewan Polytechnic scholarship portal.
