Northern Lights Design-Thorsten Watterodt Award for Excellence in Design

The Northern Lights Design-Thorsten Watterodt Award for Excellence in Design is awarded annually to a team of students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in MEC E 460 (Design Project) at the University of Alberta. The team will be selected on the basis of excellence in the innovation and creativity of their design as applied to a practical engineering project. This endowed award was established by Darcey Watterodt, friends, and colleagues in memory of Thorsten Watterodt to recognize outstanding achievement in engineering design.
