Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Bursary

This bursary was established at the University of Prince Edward Island by the alumnae of Notre Dame Academy in grateful recognition of the education they received and to honour the Sisters who were their teachers. Notre Dame Academy closed in 1971. The bursary is funded by the proceeds from a reunion to mark the 140th Anniversary of the founding of the Notre Dame Academy. The award is presented to a full-time student who is a single parent with children living at home, providing financial support to those balancing the responsibilities of parenthood and education.
