NOVA Chemicals Entrance Scholarships

Two scholarships, valued at up to $1,000 each, are awarded annually by the University of Waterloo. One scholarship is designated for a student entering first year of the Physical Sciences program in the Faculty of Science, and the other is designated for a student entering first year of Chemical Engineering. These entrance scholarships are made possible through a donation from NOVA Chemicals Corporation, recognizing their long-standing relationship with the University of Waterloo through co-op and graduate hires from the Faculties of Science and Engineering. Selection is based on academic performance, and may also consider the Admission Information Form (AIF). Engineering students are also required to complete an online video interview as part of the admissions process. No separate application is required for these scholarships as all eligible students are automatically considered upon admission.
