NSHSS STEAM Scholarship 2026

The NSHSS STEAM Scholarship recognizes the increasing role of technological innovations in daily life and celebrates students who embrace the STEAM field (Science/Medicine, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). NSHSS created this scholarship to honor students who thrive within STEAM disciplines and demonstrate dedication to pursuing careers in these fields. This scholarship is open to NSHSS members graduating in 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 who are planning to major in a STEAM field. Applicants must submit an educator recommendation, a 500-800 word essay explaining why they chose STEAM and their career aspirations, along with supporting materials including a headshot, academic resume, and transcript. Fifteen awards of $1,000 each will be distributed to selected recipients. The application opens November 20, 2025 and closes March 16, 2026.
