About This Opportunity

This network grant aims to support internationalization and mobility between research groups in Sweden and the USA through the development of new or ongoing research collaborations in medical cancer research. The call relates to the bilateral cooperation agreement between Sweden and the USA concerning cancer research, which aims to achieve faster research results through increased researcher exchange. The grant provides opportunities to establish or further develop a network around cancer research. It can be used to promote knowledge exchange between research groups in Sweden and the USA, explore opportunities to write joint applications, and seek international funding to deepen international collaboration. The grant is a fixed amount of 200,000 SEK per project for one year starting in January 2026, and can be used for project and coordination-related costs such as facilities, joint workshops and network meetings (for example, travel), and smaller project-related costs for joint studies.
