Nurse Physiologist Award

The Nurse Physiologist Award is designed to increase the number of nurses with additional preparation in physiology by providing scholarships to students pursuing studies in acute care nursing. All recipients are required to take the existing Physiology class, and generally supplement this instruction with other physiology instruction. The award also supports PhD students who will take the existing Physiology class and who express interest in taking additional coursework in this area, potentially via independent study with faculty or via enrollment in classes offering physiology instruction in non-nursing curriculum at UW-Milwaukee. This scholarship is administered through the UWM Foundation and is specifically designated for students in the College of Health Professions & Sciences, School of Nursing.
