Nursing Scholarship

The Nursing Scholarship is offered by Huguley Memorial Medical Center through the Tarrant County College Foundation. This scholarship supports students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science Program in Nursing at Tarrant County College. The scholarship is designed to assist nursing students who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in required nursing courses and meet federal or state guidelines for financial need. Preference is given to applicants who are single heads of household with dependent children. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment of at least 8 credit hours during the award period. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA and completes at least 8 credit hours in the fall semester.
