About This Opportunity
The O. George Fritz Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student entering fourth year in the Faculty of Science, in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary. The scholarship was established in memory of O. George Fritz, a member of the academic staff of the University of Calgary from 1969 until his death in February 1994. The award is funded by the University of Calgary Faculty Association (TUCFA) and friends and colleagues of O. George Fritz. Selection is based on academic merit, recognizing outstanding students pursuing studies in physics and astronomy fields. This internal scholarship provides up to $1,600 to support continuing students in their final year of undergraduate studies.
