OAS Academic Scholarship Program - Graduate Studies or Graduate Research 2025

The OAS Academic Scholarship Program provides funding for citizens and permanent residents of OAS Member States to pursue graduate studies or graduate research at universities in the Americas. Scholarships are complementary in nature and are awarded for full-time studies at any university in an OAS Member State, including those participating in the OAS Consortium of Universities. Recipients must pursue programs aligned with the Comprehensive Strategic Plan of the Organization. The program supports onsite, online, or hybrid study modalities, with priority given to online applications. Scholarships are awarded for a minimum of one academic year and a maximum of two academic years. Recipients must return to their sponsoring country for at least 24 months after completing their studies. The program excludes studies in medical sciences and language learning. Benefits are capped at $10,000 per academic year and may cover tuition, fees, health insurance, monthly subsistence allowance, roundtrip airfare, and books allowance.
