About This Opportunity

The O'Brien Continuing Scholarship is offered annually to continuing undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic merit, research experience and performance, as well as extracurricular activities, particularly those showing service to others in the community. Recipients are selected based on a comprehensive application that includes a personal statement, resume, and two letters of reference supporting their extracurricular interests. Applications must be submitted to the O'Brien Centre in the Cumming School of Medicine by April 1st. The award provides $7,000 to support continuing students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
