The Odishaw Family Prize in Aboriginal Law is awarded to a student demonstrating superior academic achievement in specific Indigenous law courses at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law. The prize recognizes the highest academic achievement in one of the following courses: LAW 590 (Aboriginal Peoples and the Law), LAW 599 (Indigenous Peoples: Law, Justice and Reconciliation), or LAW 599 (First Nations: Industry Negotiations). This endowed prize is funded by the Odishaw family and is available to continuing and graduating law students. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application, making the application process streamlined for eligible candidates.
