Om & Saraswati Bahethi Scholarship in Physics

The Om and Saraswati Bahethi Scholarship fund was established in 2018 through a generous endowment from Dr. Om Bahethi (Ph.D. 1973) and Mrs. Saraswati Bahethi to reward outstanding performance by students in both undergraduate and graduate programs in Physics at the University at Buffalo. The primary criterion for the scholarship is the overall excellence of a graduate career. For Undergraduate and MS students, the main measure is performance in courses, and participation in research is also considered. For PhD students, research progress is the main measure of performance. Eligible undergraduate students must be enrolled in one of the Physics Bachelor of Science programs and be on track to graduate in the spring of 2025.
