About this opportunity
The One Oldham Fund is a strategic single investment fund that uses pooled resources for the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector in Oldham. The funding for this grant is provided by Oldham Council to invest in the capacity of the VCFSE Sector to improve the lives of children, young people and their families in Oldham. Applications should be for projects that aim to improve up to two of the following outcomes for children (including pre-birth), young people aged under 25 and their families: mental and physical health, secure housing, financial stability, promoting recovery and reducing harm from substance use, family relationships, children safe from abuse and exploitation, crime prevention and tackling crime, safe from domestic abuse, getting a good education, and good early years development. Organizations can apply for grants of up to £1,000 if they are VCFSE groups locally rooted or actively working in the borough of Oldham, are members of Action Together CIO, are formally constituted, and have a bank account in the organization's name requiring at least two unrelated signatories. Informal social action or mutual aid groups in Oldham without a constitution can apply for grants of up to £200.
