About this opportunity
The Onozuka Family Scholarship was established by Chitaka and Akiko Onozuka to support students from Morgan Hill on their college pathways. Their generous gift stems from a deep personal commitment to education and affordability and makes it possible for students to pursue higher education at a two-year or four-year college. The scholarship is intended for any educational expense that is part of the student's approved cost of attendance. Students must demonstrate financial need per the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act application in addition to meeting other eligibility requirements.
This scholarship is designed for graduating high school seniors residing in Morgan Hill, California who plan to attend either a two or four-year college program and need financial assistance for their college education. It provides one-time awards of up to $2,500 for two-year students and up to $5,000 for four-year students. Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and plan to enroll at a U.S. accredited institution in the upcoming fall.
