Onsi Sawiris Study Abroad Scholarship - The University of Chicago

The Onsi Sawiris Study Abroad Scholarship provides a year abroad opportunity at The University of Chicago for undergraduate students from the Onsi Sawiris School of Business at the American University in Cairo. Scholars are selected based on character and merit, as demonstrated through academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and entrepreneurial initiative. In collaboration with the Sawiris Foundation in Egypt, selected scholars receive a comprehensive full scholarship package. The award covers all major expenses including tuition fees, international airfare, housing costs, health insurance coverage, and a living stipend for the duration of the year abroad program. Eligible students must be enrolled in the Onsi Sawiris School of Business, have completed at least 30 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.75, and demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities. The scholarship supports high-achieving business students in gaining international academic experience at one of the world's premier universities.
