Opportunities Fund

The Opportunities Fund is an award of up to £500 to help students who would otherwise be unable, for financial reasons, to access extracurricular professional development opportunities offered by the University or external organisations. The fund supports costs including travel, unpaid internship stipends, conference or course attendance costs, smart clothing, and other professional development expenses. The purpose of this fund is to allow students access to activities which may enhance their employability or be related to their field of study or desired career. Students who receive the award will be asked to complete an impact statement providing details of the impact of this opportunity.
