Orlando Books Collective Entrance Award

The Orlando Books Collective Entrance Award is offered to students entering their first year of any undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta. This award recognizes students with satisfactory academic standing who have demonstrated leadership in their secondary school and community activities. The award gives preference to students who have shown a commitment to advancing and supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans identified, two-spirited, or queer communities. The award is endowed by Dianne Oberg and other members on behalf of the Orlando Books Collective, including Jacqueline Dumas and Gloria Filax.
