About this opportunity
The Orndoff/Leduc Scholarship is a renewable scholarship award for full-time undergraduate students at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship is designed to support students pursuing STEM-related majors with demonstrated academic achievement and financial need. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, with freshmen required to be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class.
Preference is given to students majoring in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, Applied Engineering, or Geography with a concentration in Geographic Techniques/Spatial Analysis, in that order. Additional preference is given to students from Coles, Edgar, and Shelby counties in Illinois. Financial need is considered as part of the selection criteria.
The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester. Recipients are eligible to reapply in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria, making this a renewable scholarship opportunity.
