About This Opportunity

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a comprehensive student financial aid program that provides loans and grants to help eligible students with the cost of postsecondary education. OSAP supports students attending public colleges and universities in Ontario, as well as approved institutions outside Ontario. The program offers funding for full-time, part-time, and micro-credential students. OSAP provides financial assistance based on assessed need, taking into account program costs, income, and family circumstances. Students may receive a combination of grants and loans, with grants not needing to be repaid. The program also offers additional support for under-represented learners including Indigenous students, students with disabilities, and youth in or from extended society care. Through the Student Access Guarantee partnership program, Ontario's public postsecondary institutions may provide additional financial aid to qualified students when OSAP doesn't cover all program costs.
