About this opportunity
The Oskar Karl Forster Scholarship provides financial aid to help cover dissertation printing costs for doctoral candidates at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). This scholarship fund is administered by the state of Bavaria on behalf of the late Consul Oskar Karl Forster and is made available through TUM. The scholarship is available to students with university entrance certificates from Germany and students with university entrance certificates from abroad who are entitled to BAföG benefits. To qualify, applicants must have completed their dissertation with a final grade of at least 'magna cum laude' and must not receive a higher current income than the basic amount of the graduate scholarship specified in the Bavarian Elite Promotion Act, which totals 1,800 euros. Applications must be submitted no later than one month after the dissertation has been printed.
