OTIP Bursary Program

The OTIP Bursary Program offers 30 bursaries of $1,500 each to support students pursuing post-secondary education. This annual program is designed to assist students who are insured through OTIP or have relatives insured through an OTIP plan or program. The bursary is available to students enrolled full-time or part-time in college, university, skilled trades, or technology programs for the 2026-2027 academic year. Winners are randomly selected from all eligible entries received, making this a lottery-based scholarship opportunity. Students attending post-secondary institutions both in Canada and abroad are eligible to apply. Only one entry per student is accepted, and a student can win the OTIP bursary only once. To claim the bursary, winners must provide proof of enrollment at a post-secondary institution and correctly answer a math skill-testing question. The program is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who meet the eligibility criteria at the time of selection.
