About this opportunity
The Otto Bundschuh Memorial Bursary was established in memory of Otto Bundschuh, who worked as an instructor at NAIT for nearly 10 years before retiring in May 1991. Otto trained as an Auto Body apprentice and received his Journeyman status in the early 1950s. He was part of the initial graduating Auto Body class at the Provincial Institute of Technology & Art in Calgary (now SAIT), and worked as an Auto Body Technician, spending the majority of his career at Southpark Motors before joining NAIT. This award supports the next generation of Auto Body Technicians and is available to students enrolled in the third period of the Auto Body Technician apprenticeship at NAIT. The bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Apprentices must submit an application to be considered for this award, and will only be considered for the intake they attend NAIT.
