About This Opportunity

This NASA Postdoctoral Program opportunity aims to understand the atmospheres and magnetospheres of the Outer Planets. The program seeks postdoctoral researchers to help further understanding of the Outer Planets, their large-scale atmospheric structure, dynamical behavior and aurora and its coupling to the magnetosphere. The research will involve either data analysis of space telescope data (such as HST, JWST etc.), modeling, or a combination of the two. The NASA Postdoctoral Program offers unique research opportunities to highly-talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or at a NASA-affiliated research institute. These one- to three-year fellowships are competitive and are designed to advance NASA's missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology.
