Outstanding Monograph Prize

The American Society for Aesthetics awards an annual prize for an outstanding monograph in the philosophy of art or aesthetics that was published in the previous calendar year. The selection is made by a committee appointed by the ASA President, with members remaining anonymous. Anyone may nominate a book, and self-nominations are encouraged. The review of books by the committee commences in the spring of each year.
