About This Opportunity

The Hilden Charitable Fund's Overseas Funding program for 2026 supports charitable organizations working in Tanzania. The fund prioritizes projects that support access to education for women and girls, and projects that enable rural and/or displaced communities, especially female-headed households, to become more self-sufficient. Priority is given to funding organizations based in Tanzania that are registered as NGOs. Organizations can apply for up to £5,000 per year for up to two years (maximum £10,000 total). The program particularly prioritizes projects supporting rural communities and requires organizations to demonstrate strong governance with at least four board members, proper financial management, and operational history of at least one year.
