About This Opportunity
The Ovintiv Canada Indigenous Award is presented to students who are First Nations, Inuit, or Métis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2) with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. This award recognizes Indigenous students pursuing their undergraduate education and is designed to support their academic journey. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to students from Treaty 8. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
