About this opportunity

The Oxford Brookes Bursary for Continuing Students is a financial support program available to qualifying UK students for each year of their undergraduate studies and does not need to be paid back. The bursary is available to all eligible UK full-time, on-campus, undergraduate degree students on £9,535 undergraduate courses whose commencing year of study is 2024/25 or earlier. The bursaries vary according to household income and student circumstances, ranging from £500 to £3,000 annually. Students with household income under £25,000 receive a standard bursary of £750, mature students (21 or over) receive £1,500, and students from areas of low participation in higher education or low socioeconomic areas receive an enhanced bursary of £3,000. Students with household income between £25,000-£34,999 receive £500. The bursary is paid in three instalments throughout the academic year (25% in November, 25% in February, and 50% in April). Eligibility is assessed automatically based on household income information provided to the Student Loans Company, requiring no separate application. Students must be in full-time attendance at the University on payment dates to receive each instalment.
