P E Lindahls stipendiefond (humanities, medicine, natural sciences)

The P E Lindahls stipendiefond provides scholarships for research across three disciplines: humanities, medicine, and natural sciences. This funding opportunity is designed to support postdoctoral researchers who have recently received their doctoral degrees in Sweden or are eligible for admission to doctoral studies at Swedish philosophical or medical faculties. Priority is given to recent doctoral graduates requiring funding for continued research at postdoctoral level at other universities, either within Sweden or internationally. Scholarships of up to 250,000 Swedish kronor may be awarded and paid directly to the applicant. The funding may be used for project operating costs, expenses for international stays, or conference travel where the applicant's own research results are presented. A maximum of 25 percent of the awarded grant is permitted for covering overhead costs. The funding will not be granted for the purchase of materials such as laboratory equipment or for purposes already completed at the time of the decision. In 2025, a total of 1,500,000 Swedish kronor is available, distributed as two grants of 250,000 Swedish kronor each within humanities, two grants within medical sciences, and two grants within natural sciences. Applicants must request exactly 250,000 Swedish kronor per application. Applicants may not be employed by the state or municipality or be employed as a teacher in higher education, though exceptionally, research students with an established dissertation plan may be considered.
