P. Michael Michaud Memorial Geomatics Engineering Technology Bursary

The P. Michael Michaud Memorial Geomatics Engineering Technology Bursary honors P. Michael Michaud, who was commissioned both as an Alberta Land Surveyor and a Canada Lands Surveyor. He was a graduate of NAIT's Survey Technology Co-op Program and served as a NAIT lecturer. Mike served as the 11th Director of Surveys, Government of Alberta, from 1996-2012. His wife, Linda, established this bursary to honour Mike and his accomplishments etched in Alberta's rich survey history. This bursary is available to students enrolled in the second year of the Surveying & Geospatial Engineering Technology program at NAIT. The award is granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students who are intending on becoming an Alberta Land Surveyor or Canada Lands Surveyor. Students must complete the application to be considered for this award.
