P. Scott Smith Scholarship

The P. Scott Smith Scholarship is awarded to full-time junior or senior students majoring in Physics at Eastern Illinois University. Recipients must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate significant promise as a researcher in Physics. A key requirement is participation in mentored research with a faculty member, and the faculty mentor should be consulted when determining the best candidate for the award. Financial need is not a consideration for this scholarship. The award is announced and disbursed in the Spring semester.
